WHITE RAINBOW (fog bow)
A fog bow is a similar phenomenon to a rainbow, but it appears as an arch in fog rather than rain. The water droplets that cause fog are very small and as the droplets get smaller the colors disappear causing the arc to appear white rather than a multi-colored one.
A fog bow was spotted by several explorers during a recent expedition to the North Pole where Sam Dobson was able to take pictures of this spectacular occassion
